A rose

A little pink rose bought as a climbing rose, and planted beside the trellis.  Up to this year, it has shown no inclination to climb, but a few days ago, when walking around the garden with TonyG, we did notice one very long stem, which could probably be encouraged to twine around the trellis, so there's hope for it yet.

It seems to be enjoying the very wet autumn, and has a number of these rather delicate pink flowers on it at the moment.
