Mummy was a broody hen!

This is the first female peacock I have ever seen. You cant miss the males with their amazing tails but the females are much less decretive! She had the beautiful green and blue colors in her neck but the rest of her body was a mix of fawny browns. She had 4 chicks following her and she was none to pleased at my intrusiveness! She honked at me as I tried to get closer to her babies and puffed up her neck I guess to show me she was a very protective mumma! I snapped a few pictures and let her be!
