Bonfires

It looks like the children (and their parents) have been preparing bonfires along the beach at Stonehaven. Lighting up day should be Thursday.

When we had a walk at the beach on Sunday the children and some parents were repairing some of the damage cased by the storms over the last couple of days.

We also noticed a short stretch next to the boardwalk has been decorated with painted stones set in concrete. Many no doubt done by children, but some were quite ornate and had obvious adult input. The extra show a small selection.

Weather was fairly kind to us. Quite windy but the sun was shining most of the time we were at the beach, though there were some threatening clouds around.
