Mallaig

Drove along to Mallaig for a walk around the harbour and also to pop into The Bakehouse for one of their coffees and almond croissant.  There was a local craft shop open and we bought three Salvador Dali type block paintings by a scottish Artist.  They are worth a blip at some stage.

Caught in a monumental rain shower and the only shelter was at the side of a van but given the wind it worked.

Most of the afternoon we sat in front of the fire with the books - chatting to the other guests.  The two families had two kids each and they all dressed up for Halloween so there was a good atmosphere.

Another fab meal, hotel closes for the season tomorrow till March and despite the bloody Covid when they did open have done pretty well with UK visitors.
