Watching and Waiting

Dear Diary,

As I said yesterday, a long night and not much sleep.  It will take a couple more days to finish counting the votes due to the huge number of mail-in ballots.  Nothing to do but watch and wait and Lulu is demonstrating her patience watching a wee red squirrel.  It is the first red squirrel I've seen in over a year!  Cats can teach you a lot about patience.
