Compton Verney

We were pleased that parks and parkland was to be kept open during lockdown, this included National Trust grounds and gardens, and Compton Verney's grounds.  So we took a drive out to Compton Verney this afternoon for a brisk walk, the weather being cold and windy, but sunny too.

The picture is the landing stage where their igloo-type construction used to stand.  It was a bit chilly for sitting down in the deck chairs.  They have also erected a large enclosed marquee and decked it out with chairs and tables for coffee drinking when the weather gets too cold to sit outside, it also appears to have pumped heating.  Unfortunately it was closed due to the lockdown!

This morning we had a nice zoom chat with Maureen and Ian, this evening I did some scanning and email for a customer.  It's nice to think I can still help some people with their computer issues without the need for home visits, which I'm definitely not doing.
