Enjoying the Sun

Lockdown 2, Day 3

Alan has a few jobs he wanted to do this morning, cleaning out Bertie Bus and putting him back into day van mode as we’ve had all the seats in, since we had the MOT done at the beginning of September. So I arranged to meet Alison for a walk along the Undercliff.

It was such a gorgeous morning again, and felt really warm in the sun. The downside was that quite a few other people had the same idea, but it was fine and wasn’t overcrowded. We walked 5 miles, to the marina and back and then sat on the beach and had a hot chocolate.

By the time I got home it was 1pm, Alan had done most of what he’d wanted to do but had pulled his back so was feeling rather uncomfortable and stiff. Unfortunately his back is his weak spot and he needs to be careful, so I’ve said in future any lifting. should be a two man/woman job.

I made lunch and then I mowed the grass, finished putting stuff into Bertie, put the garden ornaments away and covered the patio furniture for the winter, then it was time to cook the dinner - a Penang chicken curry.

And the news from the US is that Joe Biden has won the presidential election. Of course Trump is claiming the votes were fixed and is taking it the Supreme Court!
