The only photo taken today was a poppy but on country walks in the last few days I have seen the others which are unseasonably late.  It is too late for the bramble and raspberry flowers to become fruits although I found some that were ripe. There are still a very few roses and the occasional lupin in an area which had thousands in June while in a wood there were many little pink purslane flowers which are normally found between April and June.
