Bear Bell

I bought a couple of bear bells as x-mas presents. My family likes to hike and in the mountains we have black bears. In my Sierra Club days we hiked all over and I always had a little bear bell attached to my pack.
Now I was looking for a bear bell and to my surprise they are a lot bigger now and they can be silenced by putting them in the little bag with a magnetic silencer. It really works.
There is an old joke, that there are a lot of bear bells in the bear scat..
