At St Mary’s Church, Thurnham

Another amazingly warm and sunny November day. So warm in the sunshine while we were out walking this morning.

We saw today’s blip at the footpath leading up to St Mary’s Church in Thurnham, it looked just right in the sunlight and the dark green foliage. A simple, but fitting tribute.

I was busy in the greenhouse, collecting the remaining green and red tomatoes, taking out all the old plants, bagging up the spent compost, tidying up and hoeing the soil. Have plenty of green tomatoes to make chutney. Meanwhile, Susan make some cheese scones using the excellent National Trust recipe. They were indeed excellent.

I finished off pickling the last batch of onions. Eight jars to last us til this time next year.
