spring?

These tiny iris surprised me in the yard today (they are NOT native.. I did plant them years ago...)... I love the delicate patterns and a flower now is so welcome! So it was this or Scots broom. We spent several hours on "broom patrol" on the top of our property which is a never ending but satisfying task. Then we needed a sauna for our aching backs... :-) One more day in paradise....
