Day 238 Rainbow

Today the weather was a mix of sunshine and heavy rain showers.  This rainbow, or at least the half that I could see, appeared after a downpour so heavy that that the rain was like hailstones.  Meanwhile part of the sky was lit up still with sunshine, which is why the trees are glowing in their Autumn colours.  Another phone pic today, and this time with Mr MC's phone: those rainbows don't last long and I had to grab what I could to capture it.  Even then I missed the fleeting moments when it was a double rainbow.
In other news:  Mr MC is on his fasting day today, prior to tomorrow's procedure.  We spent the morning sorting out the Christmas lights, which resulted in us needing to order some extra extension leads and gutter clips and then settled down to an afternoon of yet more Christmas films, although Mr MC had to leave the room quite few times!
As we complete week 34 of this new world of the pandemic, we learned that Boris has had contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19 and so has to isolate for 14 days, even though he's already had it and 10 Downing Street, we have been assured, is Covid Secure.  I give up on the complexity of isolation rules...
