Red...

……………….….Explosion

This is a simple red petaled gerbera basking in the morning sunshine.

Wikipedia tells us the gerbera was named in honour of German botanist and medical doctor Traugott Gerber (1710-1743).

Thank you for the comments, stars and hearts for yesterday’s raindrops. We woke to sunshine today and not a drop of water from the sky.

I apologise for my lack of time on blip and visiting your journals - this week has been hectic as we prepare for another visit to the North Island. Hopefully it will be third time lucky and we get to attend Victoria University’s graduation ceremonies to see our daughter receive acknowledgement of her PhD. Covid has certainly disrupted life in 2020!
