Two trees

These two trees captured my attention. They appear to have grown together, accommodating and moving around each other to form a balanced shape of mutual respect and protection. I am not sure that I have noticed them before in quite the same way, but it is probably a benefit of the leaves having largely all fallen and the skeleton of the branches becoming dominant.
We have seen the sun today which has been very welcome, although it is very cold - the first time this winter. Pilates this morning followed by a telephone chat with Jon exchanging our thoughts on Covid and how things will progress over the next year, plus the progress Arsenal are making under Mikel Arteta. An hour in the garden this afternoon, making use of the nice weather, but too cold to stay out any longer.
