Blue Tit (Cyanistes caeruleus)

Another day round home while the work on the boiler continued.  Few blip opportunities and little inspiration.

As a result I as always was enjoying the comings and goings of my feathered friends in the garden.   Desperation resulted in a Blue Tit being blipped.

Avery common garden bird so here is something you may not know.  Blue Tits can see ultraviolet light.  The area above the beak glows brightly in UV and is thought to be part of the mechanism by which females choose a mate.
