ADVENTURE AND MYSTERY ON SILLY SATURDAY

Hello Lovely Blip Friends,

Mr. HCB had to go to the opticians today so Mrs. HCB said she would go out for her walk while he was gone.

You all know how much we like to go out with her and have adventures so we quickly jumped into her bag and off we went. We thought she would be going to her field, and we were right, but didn’t quite know what we would find to do when we got there. However, there were lots of trees to climb but we had to be very careful because they were quite wet and slippery.

By the time Mrs HCB realised we were there she decided that she would take some photographs of us, which of course she did -and not just one but lots - well you know what she’s like - why take one photograph when you can take twenty?

She had a quick walk round the field but she had to be very careful as it was quite boggy in places and she nearly slipped on the mud several times, which would’ve been a great shot for Silly Saturday, I’m sure you’ll agree and that would have made Admirer giggle. You should see her walking boots, they are a mess!

When it was time to leave the field Mrs. HCB decided she would have another little wander amongst a lot of the trees that had obviously come down in the recent storm. While she was looking around she saw a numberplate from a car and a wing mirror! We were very surprised and wondered why they were there, as did Mrs HCB so she decided to take a shot of us sitting near both of them.  I wonder if anyone will recognise the numberplate?   We also found half of another numberplate - perhaps this area is a car graveyard!

When we got home, Mrs. HCB showed us how to do a check online and it seems as if the car this numberplate belongs to is a blue Suzuki obviously purchased from Pebley Beach Motors - first registered in 2002, so it would be quite old now.  The tax was due on 1st April 2020 and the MOT expired in October 2019 - so I wonder where it is now?

The mystery is, that although this field is near a road, cars don’t come anywhere near these trees, so perhaps when the travellers were there a few months ago they left these things behind, although we didn’t see the rest of the car anywhere! I guess we’ll never know so it will continue to be a Silly Saturday mystery.

Mrs. HCB is dictating this (she can still talk, ha ha ha!)  because she had a slight accident when a thorn went into the middle finger on her left hand and she had a job to stop it bleeding, so now she has a bad middle finger on her right hand and a cut middle finger on her left hand, but hopefully it will soon heal. Dear, oh dear, I don’t know what we’re going to do with Mrs. HCB.

Keep well, stay safe and have a good weekend.

With love from
J H Ted and Snowy xx

PS Mrs. HCB asked us to thank you for all your lovely comments, stars and hearts for her Christmas and Thanksgiving cactus yesterday, which she said are very much appreciated.
