The Challenge

Today was a challenge, but only because it's rained most of the day and has been depressingly gloomy. I went down town in the car with Mrs M this afternoon to buy a paper just to get out of the house!

So another indoor Blip today. Because we members of the Oban Photographic Club can't meet as usual, and therefore can't enjoy some entertaining speakers, we've decided to have 'challenges', whereby somebody chooses a subject and we post pictures on our Facebook page. This evening our speaker was to be a local man living on the edge of town who has a hide in his garden where pine martens visit on a regular basis. His called his talk 'Ootmahoosewindae' which for those living furth of Scotland means 'Out of my house window'. And for these same people, 'furth' is a Scottish word meaning 'outside of'! So as the talk couldn't go ahead we turned it into a challenge - images of wildlife taken out of the window or in the garden, with no pets or domestic animals allowed! What I was coming to was that my Blip today is of the images which I submitted to the challenge!

Quote of the Day:

Mohamedibrahim - “Wild life surprises you when you least expect it.”
