Such detail on a decaying leaf

Well, the monoblock spanner worked. Tap tightened, disaster avoided and tool ready for next time. Needed to be a contortionist to get in a position to tighten the bolt as space was very confined and movement restricted. A result with the filter suppliers. Three replacements in the post.

Most of the morning taken up with preparing for, chairing and following up a Teams meeting which went well and longer than expected.

I did have time before lunch to get out and collect the spanners and trawl around a couple of garden centres trying to get some peat free compost. What a palaver. Mind you it did provide today’s blip for TinyTuesday, what fascinating detail and interest on a decaying leaf. I’ve had plenty of these shots in reserve in the last week or so. Now is the moment. I’m impressed by the camera system on the iPhone 12, particularly the macro function and in low light

Peat free is often a problem to source. I don’t know how blippers feel about using peat. We try to avoid it, difficult as it is with most commercial nurseries using large quantities of it. It cannot be sustainable can it?

Thank you to for hosting TinyTuesday JDO. Thank you too for all your comments yesterday. I haven’t had the chance to visit your journals today and so do the next couple of days. We’re viewing our first house tomorrow morning!
