Christmas lights on Trueway Drive

Wonderful to see. I hope more people will put up lights to brighten our streets and our lives.

Basil and I were out late afternoon ambling round the estate. I had been doing an online workshop on finding my photographic style. I have to say that the exercises were very effective. My preference is for graphic shapes, forms and minimalism. So rarely do I achieve it.

Our audience contained a professional photographer from Chicago who specialises in portraiture of High School Seniors (17 year olds) paid for by Mum and Dad and a lady in Mexico City specialising in new born and infant photography. Both were highly professional business women with outstanding websites. Eric, a street photographer from UK, made up the audience. Let's just say I didn't fit in.

And even worse, I turned on Zoom at the appointed time sitting in my dressing gown as I'd just come out of the shower. The ladies in the Americas had got up at 5 am and 3 am respectively. Oh dear.
