A fish out of water

Spotted this when I went to town for an appointment. Will have to go back in the spring to see the phlox in bloom. I wonder if the gardener uses fish fertilizer.
I could go on a lengthy rant about Despicable Him and the pardon today of his crony. Rumours that he might pardon himself and apparently he can do that on the quiet. Actually I could go on a lengthy rant every day. January 20 can't come soon enough. Plenty of that happening in our house. I'm full of admiration for Joe Biden and his team for being willing to take on the monumental task ahead. Good news that they now have access to important info for the transition.
