Sunny day

We all managed to have a terrible night's sleep last night: Richard and I were just restless, Ruth/Josh/Jack/Marianna were awake with restless little ones (Luca and Frieda are both teething, and feeling it). So it was not a promising start. And today is Ruth's 33rd birthday!
But - the sun shone, we spent some time together... Ruth enjoyed treats and presents.
Best of all: Ruth and Josh have been offered the job that they have been interviewed for (a lengthy 3 stage process). Hooray...! The relief was written on all our faces. During these Covid times, and with recession and unemployment inevitable, we had all been feeling increasingly anxious.
They'll be job-sharing, Ruth doing 2 days a week and Josh 3, at a farm/garden project on the edge of Sheffield. Her emphasis will be on supporting vulnerable groups who come to the farm for learning and arts/crafts activities; his will be coordinating farm planning and farm work. No doubt there will be challenges for them in sharing home life and work life. But it's a wonderful opportunity for them.
Jack is in the main picture, with Frieda and Luca. Ruth, Josh and the two little ones are in the extra.
