Raindrops

Another dull day, with the wind growing stronger as the day goes and regular showers blowing across. We started our early morning walk in the dark, but there was no sun at dawn or rain. I have started completing this months UPP Folio, commenting on the images of other members of the folio group I belong to and thinking about what image of mine to include this month. I don't enjoy giving scores for each image as I don't understand what value that has other than to satisfy competitive spirits. A walk into the village this afternoon to post a few letters and birthday cards reminded me of how lucky we are to live on the outskirts, away from most other houses in the pandemic as people skirt around each other when passing on the pavement. All feels rather strange still. Another long winter evening ahead that can feel much the same as yesterday and tomorrow. As Yogi Berra is attributed to have said, "Deja vue all over agin.."
