In memory of snow

Confession - I did not take this image today, but I have been selecting images for my Christmas cards this year and this one failed to make the cut. I quite like it but it has too many flaws to be a successful card.
The remarkable thing about today has been that the snow disappeared completely overnight, even where there were drifts and large mounds from the snow plough. Instead it has been dull and dreary and this image has a little sparkle as the news continues to be depressing, although Bodger Johnson's star may be waning.
