Making a splash

High tide on the front today with a choppy sea occasionally making its presence felt.

I had my new patient MOT at the doctor's today; nothing to report (a good thing). Quite nice to have a Zoom appointment later with the doctor; beats having to hang around in a waiting room!

The rest of the unwanted furniture has now been taken away to charity, leaving a welcome space in the barn. I've been very anxious about small, scuttling creatures with nibbling teeth getting their 5 a day from the softer items but all looked in good order, thankfully.

Boxes emptied today were pleasant items like books and music, now on shelves. I'm slightly concerned where on earth all the other books and CDs and photo albums will go though as shelf space is currently full.

LH went and did a proper food shop, restocking on all the herbs we discovered were well out of date, not that we'd noticed. A spice rack is on the list of things to buy.

Dad has been unable to drink anything the past two days but managed a brief chat today still.
