The countdown has begun. My daughter gave me an advent calendar filled with Ferrero chocolates. Each day will provide me my dessert. 

Through December I am going to focus on Christmas around me. I haven't spent a Christmas in my house for the last 8 years. This one will feel most unusual. I promised myself I will watch one Christmas movie every evening. Normally I cannot abide this kind of show, but I'm going to soldier on through the month. This will be my covid Christmas.
