Colin had spent much of the lockdown paddling his own canoe - it was one way of ensuring social distancing.  

As a result, his expertise was now such that mere white water canoeing was not enough for him.  To prevent boredom he had invented a new game: part canoeing and part hurling but with elements of tennis, hockey and lacrosse thrown in. 

To date he was the world's only player, but he was hoping to interest the Olympic Committee in allowing the sport to take part for exhibition purposes by 2024.  He was however, still stuck on what he should call his new sport, paddle ball had already been taken and white water canoe hurling was too long.  If only he could think of some snappy name, like... water quidditch ...
