Following mother

We came back to the city after an early lunch. The infamous Hill Street intersection in Warkworth added a half hour to the one hour trip, as it took 30 minutes to travel less than a  kilometre approaching an intersection which is totally dysfunctional. For nearly fifty years there has been request after request for a solution. With no response.

Later in the afternoon I had a walk beside Cox’s Creek, where I saw a duck with four ducklings. It’s markings appear different to a mallard, and the beak rather bigger. Perhaps it’s an Australasian Shoveller.
