Wooler's Christmas market and 'local shopping day'. The town was jam packed from early morning, and by 10.00 people were queueing to get in to the paper shop! I had planned to go to the market about half an hour after it opened, assuming that the initial rush would have died down a bit, but there was still a long queue and, despite the organisers' considerable efforts to maintain social distancing, some folk clearly forgot about it once they had gained entrance! Decided against joining the throng, and walked home again, stopping for a chat with Tony on the way.

Down to the market again an hour later when it was a little more quiet, for a wander round the stalls. Bought a couple of 'stocking fillers', but the nursery stall I had hoped to look at wasn't there this time. Home just before the rain started in earnest!

No photos of the market, so it's an emergency indoor blip - spray carnations!
