Warmth

Waited all afternoon for a phone call from the doctor . Hoping that it would be early so that we could go out for a walk afterwards.
However, gone 4.30 before he called and all we could do is watch the mist roll back in again in the meantime.
Not to worry as we did get out eventually and afterwards settled down in front of the fire to warm ourselves once we got back.
Cups of tea and homemade bread, still warm enough to melt the butter, also helped of course.
No place like home is there?
