Hallgrimskirkja

We have arrived in Reykjavik after an uneventful journey. The weather is grim and the forecast is not good, I'm not sure we will be seeing the Northern Lights this week.

Dodging between the raindrops we managed to find the church known as Hallgrimskirkja. It is a concrete structure but it was discovered the builders skimped on materials and it began to fall apart. Until recently it was covered in scaffold for urgent repairs.

The shot had to be mono, the colours are so washed out today. Tomorrow it is a drove to find some hot springs!!
