Tiny Tuesday: Fungus

My morning walk today took me on a different route from the usual, as I wanted to call at a specific shop. I'd not been expecting to be able to get my Tiny Tuesday shot while out so (bother!) I'd not taken my main camera which was a nuisance as I came across a collection of these interesting fungi on a log. So I just had to use my phone camera but I've given it a fair bit of tweaking on the computer.

This particular specimen is only about 2cm across. I'm no good at identifying fungi so I've no idea of its name, but I'd like to call it the "Ear Fungus" (or "Lughole Fungus" if you prefer) as I think there's some resemblance!
