Frosty

It was very cold last night but had become a little warmer before the sun began to light the skyline. It was still frosty in places however, and the leaves on the plant benefited from Jack Frost's magic fingers. It has been a dull an overcast day with a cold wind, so we have not ventured out since our early morning walk as the sun rose. A pilates class this morning, followed by a telephone call with Peter, who was having exporting some images from Lightroom for transfer for a course he is just finishing. Then packaging the calendars ready for posting with Christmas cards and, for some, quilted table runners made by Ms S.
This afternoon, duets with Bill spending time playing the timing of passages accurately. First the various movements in the Handel sonata we have been studying and then 'Walking Shoes' by Gerry Mulligan. It is so easy to play it as you think it should be rather than as it is written. I am feeling a little jaded now.
