Self Portrait in a Shop Window

Friday, so market day in Shepshed. A passing shower and then the sun emerged. It seemed strange to see blue sky.

Carol was there. She'd had her hair done the previous day and was looking smart. Len fished two plastic carriers out of the bag to enable us to sit on the wet bench while we enjoyed lattes from Finkins.

A bit of chat with Perry and Louie at the fish stall. I bought sea trout which was delicious last night and two fillets of Norwegian redskin fish that looked plump. We look forward to those on Monday. Both Cavner brothers appear to have had interesting pasts. Nod, nod, wink, wink.

Returning via The Urban Farm Shop and Kirkhill, we called in at Colin's for a long chat.

Then home where I started working on changes to the RPS DIG website to try and redeem myself, partially. Had an uplifting email from Emily, the website manager. I'm not to upset myself.

I think the changes are an improvement. Let's see what next week brings.

Today's photo is of the hairdressers opposite Natural Beautii in Field Street.
