Hound Dogs

I have had a go at doing a bit of whimsy. I love the photographs of Margaret Marks which show vignettes of the front gardens of houses in a suburban residential area of London.

So as I was walking past this house this afternoon I thought I would have a try. But it doesn't have the feeling of irony and it doesn't make me chuckle. I cant work out why.

It's a nice house though.

UPDATE: I have done what Jools suggested below and added it as an extra. Yes, it seems to work better. Thanks Jools.
