The Keepers of the Candle

Words fail me - I’m going to ask Santa for an ark and I am going into it with a heater, a supply of books and my knitting. I will come out in the spring to get my Covid vaccination when the rain has stopped and life looks worthwhile living. Meanwhile I will hunker down indoors wearing my down jacket against the permeating cold and look out on a drenched world where it is almost dusk at 2pm.
