New reality day 140

I bought a new ornament today. This star in the picture. I just couldn't resist. It's wooden. It had the lights and the batteries with and it has a timer that it will be lit for 6 hours automatically during 24 hours. So I don't have to worry about it. It will shine in the window every afternoon to evening.

It's been an ordinary Tuesday so far. Work. Grocery shopping. Late lunch home. Laundry still going on.

Later walking with the dogs and mix of snow/sleet/rain starting tonight. We now have some snow on the ground which really lights up the darkness, but if the dreaded rain happens, that's the end of all whiteness. It's beginning to look more and more "black Christmas" ( musta joulu in Finnish, which means there's no snow). It's one of the things that we all wish for -  a White Christmas, but usually end up with the black at least in Southern Finland. The weather forecast will give out first predictions about White Christmas during October I think. Statistically the snow that will stay on ground comes around Epiphany.

Mother Nature must love her sense of irony.
