Feathery Stripes

I didnt have much luck finding some stripes this morning so I hoped to find something after work.  Unfortunately nothing crossed my path until I was tidying up my desk and came across a packet of feathers I’d purchased a while back at the craft shop. They do have striped markings if you’re up close and a whole bunch of them together also looks a bit stripey!   Its a bit of a stretch I know! :o)

Another of the flowers on the night blooming cactus has been trying to open up but its surrounded by big leaves which has kept it partially closed, see the new shot in extras.  I’ve deleted the one from last night as I’ve totally run out of extras, thank goodness its a new year soon!! :o)
