Celebrating Beethoven’s 250th anniversary

This year sees the 250th anniversary of the birth of Beethoven, and whilst his actual birthdate is not known for certain, he was baptized on the 17th December, so it is assumed he was born on the 16th! I was short of an outdoor blip again today, so I put together a small bust of Beethoven, which I keep on a shelf of my music cabinet, and the beginning of Beethoven’s Moonlight Piano Sonata, which I love, and always makes me think of my Mum who was a pianist, teacher and accompanist, and who was born on the 18th December!
