Lollypops

There seems to be plenty of variety at the moment in the ice formations along the lake shore. I found these balls of frozen froth around the base of some reeds quite intriguing. They stand out so well against the dark frozen water below. Also the vertical stems contrast with the few horizontal lines below. I opened up the shadows at the back to give some depth to the image.
