Day 270 A sort of stripy sky

Our challenge this week from our regular Abstract Thursday host Ingeborg, is to create an abstract using stripes.  I do find anything involving straight lines/geometric shapes much more difficult than my favoured flowing and curvy images so this shot put through PhotoSpiralysis is the best I can come up with.  The original is yet another early morning shot of the house opposite us, taken as the sun rose. 
In other news: sadly we heard from Epping Ongar Railway that our Lights Fantastic trip, due to happen on 10 January is now cancelled.  They have worked so hard to make everything Covid-19 secure but now that we are in Tier 3, Essex CC have said no.
The government which earlier this week threatened to take legal action against boroughs who wanted to close their schools a couple of days early, now has a new plan for a staggered return for secondary schools in January: this is to allow schools to set up a Covid Testing Scheme.  Follow my link to learn more if you are interested as  words fail me!
