Old Chester 4

Three for the price of one on Nostalgia Friday. These signs are all on the side of the Pied Bull in Chester. Last week, on December 11th,  I blipped the old coaching sign on the front of the building these signs are all on the King Street wall (the facing road on last week's photo).

The Road and Path Cycling Association was formed in 1889 and only lasted for two or three decades so this sign must date from at least 100 years ago and I'm guessing the cycle storage sign is from the same era. Apparently there are only 5 of these signs left with one each in Wigan, New Quay, Lichfield and Ightham (Kent)

I was in Chester as I had to take my mum to the hospital for the Covid jab and it seems to have gone OK..
