Zooming Round the World

We decided to kick off Christmas week with a Sunday Family Christmas Special on zoom rather than our normal quiz.  The idea being a festive look, if possible, and a spontaneous offering, sing a song, tell a joke, festive quiz, whatever.  Ann and I started the session with a song based on The Twelve Days of Christmas written by Ann changing the words to reflect happenings around us, pandemic, American elections, etc.  I think it went down quite well and everyone enjoyed it, even Luna seemed to appreciate it...though not for long.  We then had jokes from Pete and Emma, music from Tom and Rachel and a clever music/picture quiz from Andrew.  The session finished with Sam showing us the wonderful looking fruit cake she'd made and taking a slice....we're expecting our slice in the post!  Pete won the prize for best backdrop, he even managed to pronounce the name on the signpost.

This afternoon  we were going to have a wander around the village of Hampton Lucy but it was pouring with rain when we reached there.  So we abandoned that idea, drove home and had a local walk to Bishopton.
