Ben’s Bear

As happens every year, Ben’s Bear is dressed for Christmas.

We chatted to the head ranger here, thanking him for all the work in keeping the reserve open this year. He has only had 4 days off. What he was really pleased about was seeing so many children on a daily basis. Kids ought to be outside jumping in puddles, and there will have been plenty of that going on today.

Winter solstice today, at 10.02 to be precise. I have been seeing Jupiter and Saturn over the last weeks, but far too cloudy to see the conjunction this evening.
