Book Club

An emergency blip, after a trip out to observe the Jupiter Saturn conjunction got cancelled because there is thick cloud.  They not been this close for 800 years and will not be for another 400 so get out there and take a look.
Instead you get the books I've read since the last Book Club. The ones with a WWI focus , ie Toby's Room and the Photographer of the Lost  are recommended if you like that sort of thing,  being a different take on a well trodden theme. Someone gave me the latest Ian Rankin, so  that's me up to date with the adventures of ex Detective Inspector Rebus .   My actual Book Club book was the Moon in Leo , a somewhat esoteric book about West Cumbria in the 1600s, interesting only because of where I live.
