Conjunction

Spent most of this misty, cold day hauling, chain-sawing and chucking over the wall all the olive branches decimated yesterday from the lane - no-one would have been able to drive through. And we are both done in... had a late nap, and then raced for Monsaraz to see the conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn - a bit too late, so Saturn (the further one) had already passed Jupiter, oh well...  the horizon, though, was just stunning.

And then to São Pedro, to receive a Swedish loaf/cake and other goodies from Margreth and Göran, so lovely to see them - at a good distance; she was so frustrated not to be able to hug us...

Gratefuls:
- getting the lane clear; felt like giving up a few times, but we persevered
- Margareth and Göran, love them!
- her cake, with Drambuie, which they also gave us - tastes a lot like the Portuguese Beirão, but twice as strong
