Socially distanced present swap

This morning I went to the shop very early to get a couple of last minute things. That's it now - anything that I might have forgotten we'll manage without!

F and I then went to put some Christmas arrangements and greenery on the family graves.  It was dry when I left home but by the time we got to the cemetary the rain was torrential.

By the time I'd done four graves I was soaked to the skin.  To compound matters I'd accidentally pressed the electronic windows button and all four windows had been left completely open.  I couldn't have got wetter but F who had stayed reasonably dry got his taste of the rain! I put a shopping bag on the seat to sit on to drive.

We then went to do a present swap with my brother malcornorton and J after negotiating the river-like lanes around their house. We stayed outside, talking to them at a distance.  It was lovely to see them although the visit was shorter than it would have been due to the weather!

The blip is of my brother brandishing the personalised card that I made them (he's a keen motorcyclist).

When we got to my village we called at the chippie and had a delicious meal from there but it had to be eaten after I'd changed into dry clothes!
