Red cabbage

I went into town early to get a few last minute items of food and filled the car with petrol so I'm allset now - hopefully.

This afternoon I prepeared the red cabbage for Christmas dinner and it's now residing in the freezer.  I'm always taken with what a work of art it is when it's cut - such a beautiful colour and patterns.  I snappped a quick photo of it as I'd forgotten to take anything else today.

I also wrapped the presents so that's a good job done.
