Christmas morning walk

Today is 12 years since I started my blip journey.

What a rich experience my daily blip is. As always at my blip birthday I reevaluate if I'll continue. I will.

It's been a challenge to blip for the past months as I recover from concussion. It takes a lot of concentration and I've had to adapt my process.

I'm limited in my ability to comment and keep up with other journals. I do appreciate the comments and stars although I don't always see them at the time they're given.

Thanks to the blip gurus who keep the site going. You're wonderful unsung heros and your work is appreciated.

Blip has blessed my life in so many ways. It allows family and friends to share in a slice of my daily life through my eyes. I've made connections and blip friends, and are inspired by what I see and read. All in an online community that values respectful interactions.

Mostly though it's a daily creative outlet, an opportunity to see what I wouldn't see otherwise, to take less for granted, record aspects of my life, and to consider what I'm grateful for. In short it's part of the tapestry of my life, with all its ups and downs.

Today's gratitude: For a quiet haven for a few days and friends to spend Christmas with.

Peace
