Christmas

Merry Christmas, everyone. There's been a lot of fuss about Christmas this year and now, at 10.30pm, the day is almost over. It's gone well. I loved the crackers I bought this year, glittery red ones and flowery poinsettias.

It's many years since I've cooked a Christmas dinner but it worked, except for the fact that I left the Brussel sprouts in the steamer in the microwave!
The Mate and The B-I-L came for the day with us and The Mate is staying overnight. While we waited for the meal to cook we watched Paddington and Paddington 2, they gave us a good laugh.

It's so nice having Alexa in the kitchen with me playing Christmas songs and carols!
