Bonanza!

I had stopped by this bench on the trail and scattered a handful of sunflower seeds. A few birds flew in, and, as I waited for more to arrive, I heard footsteps that definitely weren't made by birds. Looking up, I saw this doe wandering in my direction. She spotted (or smelled) the seeds, and this is what I imagined she was saying to herself: Oh, look, sunflower seeds! My very favorite snack! I'm going to have some. Now! And she ate all of them with a few swipes of her very long tongue.

This morning I read some tips on how to create a diptych that tells a story. That's what I decided to experiment with today. How did I do? Can you "read" the story from the pictures (without the words)?
